Private fundamental yoga class

A private fundamental yoga class is great for students just starting their yoga practice, and also for more experienced yogis who want to take their practice to the next level.

A private fundamental yoga class includes:

  • Learning proper form for base poses including child's pose, downward dog, upward dog, chaturanga dandasana, halfway lift, and others.

  • Learning how to perfect your base standing postures including warrior I, warrior II, crescent lunge, and warrior variations.

  • Learning tips and tricks to take your base postures to the next level, including ways to further engage your muscles to make for a deeper yoga practice..

60-minutes
$40 per student

Private yoga classes are 60-minutes long and led by Amanda. Each private yoga class will be a one-on-one session with Amanda. Amanda will offer self-assists throughout the class so that you can have an individualized and thoughtful practice.

There are three different private yoga class levels:

  • Beginner: Beginner yoga classes include a 15-to-20-minute section dedicated to learning base balancing inversions, either flying frog or tripod. It is recommended to take a Private Fundamentals Yoga Class prior to taking a beginner class.

  • Intermediate: Intermediate yoga classes include a 15-20 minute section dedicated to learning intermediate balancing inversions, either flying frog or full crow. It is recommended to take a few beginner yoga classes before taking an intermediate class.

  • Advanced: Advanced yoga classes include a 15-20 minute section dedicated to learning advanced balancing inversions, either full crow or side crow. Advanced yoga classes offer less guidance for each pose and primarily flow each section from breath to movement.

A variety of posture options are offered in each yoga class to ensure your safety and well-being. Please let Amanda know of any injuries or discomforts you're experiencing prior to your private yoga class so that she can tailor your practice to provide a safe experience.

For private yoga classes, students have the option to select the kind of music they want to listen to and also ask for certain poses that they want to work on to be included in each class. Additionally, each week over a four-week period, classes will build upon one another so you can continue to grow in your yoga practice.
